07.15.26 — The Gotham Guillotine

fractured legs America

A surreal, prophetic road odyssey published in The Gotham Guillotine. The poem traces the fractured body of a nation across desert corridors, Marlboro smoke, and war-pig shrapnel — moving between eros and ruin, hitchhiker indifference and an electrified, oiled-up icon ready to write. A long-form incantation on colonial violence, industrialized militias, and the fuzz of a country knelt to priest and ponzi scheme.

The Brood in Revue

A visceral dive into Rebecca Baum's surrealist horror novel, The Brood. Exploring the protagonist Mary Whelton's descent into an alternate reality controlled by cicadas deep in upstate forests, where feminist allegory and generational mother wounds crawl through subterranean landscapes. A body-bug forward thriller that examines insecurity, attachment, and the thematic imbalance of self-importance meeting something deeper than skin.

Ode to Winter Solstice

A prose poem published in The Gotham Guillotine — New York's sharpest socialist literary magazine. Set in a lower east side art bunker on the longest night of the year, it moves through occult ritual, Egyptian hashish, pagan devotees, and the poets and freaks who gather there.
